Oven Range Bake
GE Range JDP36G Oven Door will not open!?
The top burners work fine, but the oven door will not open, as if it is locked during cleaning. However, did not use the oven clean function, but have been baking. Now, for no obvious reason the oven door will not open.
I flipped the circuit breaker, did not help.
Tried turning the cleaning timers to different positions, did not help.
i had same problem. ran the clean cycle again and it seems to reset itself.
i think what happened is i went to open door be fore it was unlocked. its very sensitive lock, the automatic lock that is.
make sure the door and lock are not tight against any thing run the clean cycle again short version and do not try to open until completely done worked for me goodluck
