What is a good tasting wine something not too strong?
Or would I be better off with a Wine Cooler?
Most unsophisticated wine drinkers (not wine snobs) like white Zinfandel, because it has a light, fruity taste and it's kind of sweet. This is good for people who are put off by the bitterness (from the tannins) of a red, and the sour tanginess of a white.
Any wine can be made into a wine cooler by combining about 1 part wine to 2 parts clear fruit-flavored soda (like 7-Up or Sprite). I actually really like the taste of a red wine cooler made with diet Squirt. The citrus taste of the Squirt makes the wine taste like a light Sangria.
