temperature Control Panel for a 2001 dodge stratus overheats is this normal?
my a/c wont work on my car but i notice that the clutch stop working and at the same time my temperature panel dont workonly the blower turns on coul it be a short and how would i know? and what can i do?
if its heating up that's not normal for that to happen,you more than likely will wind up replacing it,some of those did cause problems,pull it out and look at the wires on the back for the switch they may be shorting out,or the switch is trying to draw too much voltage,that can be caused by a compressor trying to lock up also it will make the switch heat up like that,it will eventually burn the switch out on it though,a bad relay will also cause the same thing,good luck,
