Drip Pans
What's the best way to clean the drip pans on your stove?
I've tried everything, but I can't scrub anymore and the burnt on overflow from making dinner last night still isn't coming off!
Preferably a method that doesn't ruin them and require me to buy new ones.
They r the removable 2 pc kind- and no one ever has the 2 pc kind in the right size...plus I live in a rental and they'll charge me if I don't have the original ones. They've just never gotten like this where I can't get them clean before, it's usually really easy!
OK people...I have scrubbed them w/ everything under the sun already- this includes steel wool and SOS pads...and the oven cleaner sprays (Easy Off) can't be used- if u read the back it says it corrodes them...
I used Cascade diswasher detergent. I would just fill my sink with very, very Hot Water, add one- half cup of Cascade, let the pans soak for a few minutes, then wipe clean with a sponge, and - presto- they were clean and shiny!!
